Royal Alpaca is the finest and most precious grade of alpaca fiber. Only about 1–2% of the world's alpaca wool meets the criteria to be classified as "Royal."

Fiber thickness: less than 19 microns (for comparison: human hair has about 50–100 microns)

Extra soft: feels almost like cashmere, but is more durable
