Lotus FONTANA® ceramic pre-filter
This ceramic pre-filter fits all Lotus FONTANA® models from Lotus Vita and models from similar suppliers. It has been improved and is now significantly flatter, but slightly larger in diameter. With a pore size of 0.2 - 0.4 µm (millionths of a meter), this ceramic filter filters out practically all undissolved substances, including microplastics, in the Lotus FONTANA® filling tank.
With this filter you are safe from residues from your water pipe. The pores have a density of approx. 0.2 to 0.4 µm. Microplastics, sediments, rust, sand, dust and bacteria of all kinds have no chance and cannot penetrate the ceramic.
Because the pore size is so small, the water appears particularly clear and the subsequent Lotus FONTANA ® filter cartridges are not contaminated with these fine suspended particles. All solid components are retained and can be easily removed from the ceramic filter by lightly sanding.
Usage time
This filter has a high efficiency and is only used up by the mechanical cleaning process.
The service life is approximately one year!
The service life depends largely on the quality of the water used and the number of cleaning cycles and can therefore differ considerably from our specifications.
