What is DHL GoGreen Plus?
GoGreen Plus is DHL's sustainable shipping option. Unlike traditional offsetting, where emissions are compensated through external projects, GoGreen Plus focuses on insetting – meaning that emissions are reduced directly within the transport chain .
This is achieved, for example, through the use of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) . This actually reduces CO₂ emissions from transport, rather than just offsetting them on paper. DHL is therefore actively investing in expanding sustainable logistics solutions , instead of simply buying certificates.
